Alexandra is very child friendly and, although she wants to take her time to check you out, loves nothing more than a neck rub and a cuddle. | |||

| Comment: Bambi was the 5th cria born in her season and born late in the season. She spent her early days trying to catch up with the bigger, older cria, always looking more fragile and clumsy. However, lately she has blossomed and has developed an excellent fleece. Bambi commands great respect in the herd, displaying a strong intelligence and ability to work co-operatively with others when hunting dogs and foxes. The dog fears Bambi, as she displays a quick pace with an ability to turn fast at high speed. Bambi is very forward and gentle and will follow people around the paddock. | |||

Comment: Cute, cuddly, and not afraid of coming forward, Concetta is a very special young alpaca. She enjoys a walk on the halter and is always ready to explore. She can often be seen trying to lead her friend Alexandra on some reluctant adventure. Concetta is quick to make friends and enjoys a chasing game. No-one gets past Concetta without a sniff. She has impeccable breeding and seems to have captured all the good qualities from each of her lines. Concetta has recently won two ribbons. |

| Comment: Cozinca is Inca Warrior's brother and like all brothers they are very competitive. The two of them love nothing more than a good fight and wrestle. Cozinca is part of our line breeding program where we are trying to genetically amplify the fantastic Royal Inca characteristics. For a stud male, Cozinca is quite tame and took it upon himself the guard the chickens during the "Terrible Fox Incident of 2008". | |||

| Comment: Always there but willing to take a back seat, Desert Inti is a lovely looking alpaca. There is something special about her fleece and confirmation that makes her lovely to just stare at. Desert Inti lost an unborn cria when the herd was visited by wild dogs and since then appears to have a vehement hatred of dogs. At the slightest hint of trouble Desert Inti and her protege Bambi, will be straight there ready to stamp it out. | |||

| Comment: Finn McCool is a lovely, well behaved, good mannered young male. He has an excellent pedigree and he has carried all the wonderful prize winning fleece characteristics of his mother. Visitors who know alpacas often want to see and talk about Finn and he is very easy to handle. He enjoys a walk on the halter and is very proud of the day he walked through Gisborne on his way to the vet for his certification tests, which he passed with flying colours. Finn McCool will soon be ready to start working (although he is not exactly sure what to do yet - when put in the pen with an experienced female she sat and he ate the grass). He is often seen with his great friend Cuchlain and they really share a close bond. Finn shares his mothers love of sticking his head through the fence to try the grass and on his first day managed to roll into the neighbouring paddock causing a bit of emotional distress for all involved. | |||

| Comment: The old man of the herd, Frigate can be a softy once you win his confidence. Frigate is a well boned, strong black stud that loves nothing more than to stand with his arms crossed on the fence chatting up the ladies. Frigate can smell gender and has a tendancy to react differently to male and female humans as well as alpacas. Despite his well advanced age he rules over the other males and can pack a good suck if you get in between him and his prey. | |||

| Grey Song is a strong grey boy who has just started working. He is well tempered and enjoys a neck rub. The first time we met him we put him on the halter and he walk with us as if he had known us all his life. Grey Song has is waiting for a lot of his babies to arrive and everyone is excited for him. Despite being dominant with other alpacas he is a lamb around people, especially children. | |||

| Comment: The little girl known as Happy, is a very friendly and inquisitive. He bouncy manner makes her fun to be around. Happy was born on Nan's birthday and made her very happy which is where she got her name from. Happiness is registered as Lemarli Paris 2 due to one of those data entry errors that seem to happen sometimes. | |||

| Comment: The little boy that couldn't say no, Hero could not stand at birth and was initially rejected by his mother. Concetta had been very sick in the later pregnancy, unable to walk herself and this had affected his develThrough one of those crazy life situations Hero was born just as Monique's First Cria died and for two days Monique kept Hero alive with her life saving milk. Eventually Hero was able to stand long enough to feed from his own mother who then accepted him and after 4 days he finally walked. Hero is smaller than most alpacas but has the most amazing fleece. | |||

Even though she was teh last born of the season, she was soon the biggest and has quickly become one of the guardiand of teh herd. | Comment: Inca Warrior is the daddy of much of the herd. He always seems to genetically improve on his cria, even when mated with average females. Inca has many ribbons to his name including a third at Royal Melbourne Supreme Champion. He has a love hate relationship with the boys in the neighbouring paddock, ensuring that he dominates them while spending considerable time sitting next to them with only the fence between. | |||

| Comment: Everybody's friend, Monique is the most inquisitive alpaca you could imagine. She often strolls away from the herd on a explore and on a number of occasions people in the paddock have reported a wet tongue on their bare hand as she nuzzles them a lick. Monique and Radya were both born on the same day and for a while kept getting their mothers mixed up. Monique is big for her age and has the potential to be a big girl from a great line. Her mother has taught her a wonderful temperament making her a favourite with visitors. | |||

| Comment: Niranjelli has grown to be an adorable and cuddly alpaca. No one likes a neck rub more than Niranjelli and she will smooch up to you for hours if you let her. NIranjelli has been working on her halter training and seems to enjoy all the attention that that brings. | |||

| Comment: A quiet alpaca, Paris likes to just follow the crowd. She grew up with Willow and Summer, who then spent considerable time agisted in South Australia. Paris then fell in with her younger sister Mia, who she looks very similar to. While not as outgoing as Mia, Paris still loves a neck rub and a cuddle. Paris is a great mother, learning quickly and working with the humans to teach her cria. | |||

| Comment: Elusive and often difficult to spot, the little white alpaca is usually hiding in the middle of the herd. Radya was born on the same day as Monique and shares a special bond with Tia Maria, having fed off her a few times in juvenile confusion. Radya has developed a lustrous crimpy fleece and is testament to the wonderful genetics of her parentage. | |||

Comment: As the so called black (she's actually very, very, very dark brown) alpaca, Roisin stands out in the herd. Roisin is a gentle girl who loves a cuddle. As a mother she is perfect, always talking to her cria and pushing them close. Despite her colour, she has produced some spectacular white cria, Mylisa and Mia being particularly note worthy. |

For example if you want to move her from one paddock to another she often stops at teh gate, trying to assess your motives.
